Underwater…

The moonlight looks over the deep sea

At the bottom, some sailors sound asleep

Mermaids take care of them!

The violent storm went away

But took away victorious fighters

The moonlight looks over the deep sea

A lonely wind carries to sailor’s heart

The tears of women bereaved

Mermaids take care of them!

May your melancholic song

Reach the soul of those heroes asleep

The moonlight looks over the deep sea

Ô loving sea, Ô old friend,

Give me back what you took

Mermaids take care of them

Cruel waves, murderous scum,

Could you a day tell me the truth?

The moonlight looks over the deep sea

Mermaids take care of them!

Sweet Shadow

Her long black dress crawls like a snake,

And her face disappears far away.

I don’t now who she is, where she goes…

Her heavy hair undulates with her step,

But her dark frown intrigues me now.

Her long black dress crawls like a snake.

I imagine her life, young girl’s life,

Surely her mind is full of dreams but

I don’t know who she is, where she goes…

At the heart of the crowd, in this town,

Everybody sees her only because

Her long black dress crawls like a snake.

I want to go with her far away

To forget everything about me, but

I don’t know who she is, where she goes…

Her figure disappears out of my view,

But I will never be able to forget her because

Her long black dress crawls like a snake.

I don’t know who she is, where she goes…

Alix Saborin

Gallop, proud horse

Gallop, proud horse, gallop and get along,

Make me pride of you, horse, run across plains

And with the wind you send up make me strong

When I’m on my own in the vast country

When I watch you running I forget all my pain

Gallop, proud horse, gallop and get along

My sleep is heavy, my dreams are so long,

I need some strength to climb on the mountain

So with the wind you send up make me strong

In the cold and cool wind I sing my song

The sound is like your steps, like a fountain

Gallop, proud horse, gallop and make me strong

And with the wind you send up make me strong

Life is a long meal

Life is a long meal,
A life without you is like a cappuccino without coffee,
It’s a fight against our will.

To live everybody needs food to avoid being ill,
Food makes us stronger, fit and healthy,
Life is a long meal.

Food makes life great and easy,
It’s well known that starvation can kill,
It’s a fight against our will.

Food makes some of us crazy,
And those who love food pay the bill,
Life is a long meal.

Your stomach shouts when it’s empty,
Life is like a wheel,
It’s a fight against our will,

One day life will drive you again next to me,
It’s why we must be happy,
Life is a long meal,
It’s a fight against our will.

Les haïkus :

An ordinary morning

When the sun comes up,

Birds are singing the same song,

As every day.

Nightingales and tits,

Blackbirds, crows and turtledoves,

And also finches.

They are all singing,

They all seem to be happy,

As every day.

Princes presents at breakfast

If you want to have

your big breakfast in the bed

sleep in the kitchen.

If you want to find

a prince very beautiful

kiss a lot of frogs.

Christmas is coming

bring your present in the snow

and have lots of joy.

Une étudiante

In the beautiful

Sky, and across the blue lake

The exact same cloud.

An icy morning

And one more cup of coffee

It’s the New Year’s day.

I close my novel

To breath the rain and listen

To summer showers.
